ABOUT US

Founded in 2017 with the support of the Chalkhill Community Trust Fund, Chalkhill Community Radio was established to give a voice to the local community. With their generous backing, we have grown into one of Brent’s leading community radio stations, dedicated to amplifying local voices and fostering connections. Over the years, we have collaborated with high-profile organisations, including:

Brent NHS
John Lewis
Chalkhill Residents Association

Beyond broadcasting, we are committed to empowering local residents with opportunities in media and digital technology. Many first-time presenters who started with us have advanced into mainstream media roles, earned industry awards, and launched successful creative businesses. We remain deeply grateful for the continued support from the Chalkhill Community Trust Fund and look forward to expanding our impact in Brent and beyond.

EXCELLENT PRESENTERS

After a year of extensive outreach work, and raising awareness we have recruited engaged and trained 30 Local residents as Radio Presenters and have also affiliated ourselves withe following local groups/agencies in the area:

CHALKHILL COMMUNITY RADIO aims to outreach and engage all sections of the community to form a local Radio Station that will reflect a diverse community, we aim to enhance community cohesion with this new and vibrant initiative which will covering Culture, Music, Local News, Local Issues, Talk

DIVERSE SCHEDULE

Shows all focused on our local community. We aim to promote local Services, facilities, activities, information, news. Live shows will be presented by trained local residents, community groups, local councillors, MPs, corporate agencies Housing trust and local businesses are all getting actively encouraged to get involved. Our energetic approach has been welcomed by all sections of the

community. We are accessible and supportive of any local event and try to cover as much as we possibly can working with limited resources.
